Utah Books Quote Quiz WINNERS and ANSWERS

A few weeks ago at the beginning of Utah Book Month, I posted a challenge... a quote quiz asking people to guess which Utah book the quote was from. Turned out, it was sort of hard. So I had to modify the quiz a bit and give some hints.

WINNERS

Anyway, this has made for a challenge for me in picking the winners. Thus, I have decided to have THREE winners! Yes, that's right... THREE.

First of all, before I gave out the hints, one person got three answers right. I felt it wasn't fair to her that she tried the challenge BEFORE the hints were given, and since she still got some right, I choose her as my first winner.

WINNER NUMBER ONE: Kathy from Read This Instead!

Then after I gave the hints, I had two people who get EVERY SINGLE one right! So instead of putting them in the pot and picking which one would win, I've decided they BOTH win!!

WINNER NUMBER TWO: Gayle! (who doesn't have a book blog for me to link to, but who is one of my most loyal readers and commenters! Obviously, she seriously needs to start blogging about books!)

All the winners get to choose a book from the list of books featured in the quiz, and I will mail them that book (direct from Amazon.)

You should be hearing from me by email soon, so I can get your mailing address and get those on the way!

Thanks for playing everyone!

  2. Yay! That was a very fun challenge, but I couldn't have done it without the hints. :) (And I think your blog can count for me too, since we read so many of the same books, don't you think?)

  3. I'm so impressed with Gayle! She needs to start a book blog already! I'm not surprised Melissa got them either.
