One year ago we created our kpop youtube channel. We went into it a bit nervous and embarrassed and shy and wary and feeling pretty weird about it. But one year later we are so so SO glad we jumped in and just did what we wanted to do. It's been a blast. And just like with book blogging, we ended up meeting and connecting with some really awesome people we would have never found otherwise.
To celebrate our one year birthday, we created another favorite moments and sort of a channel trailer to include stuff from all this past year. This will give you an idea of how crazy much fun we're having doing this silly channel and just embracing the passion. Watch and let me know what you think!
We are also trying to push to a goal of 10,000 subscribers, which totally blows me away! We are so close! So...if you have any sort of inkling to subscribe and see what we come up with next, do it now! :)

Fifty Things I've Learned
Today is the last of my countdown to 50 lists! Birthday week has arrived. (Ugh.) But, I hope you've enjoyed them. I've had fun thinking them up and stretching my brain a little to do so. Anyway.... here's fifty things I've learned so far.
Fifty Things I’ve Learned
- going to movies is fun, just do it
- life usually won’t turn out how you think it will
- embrace your passions
- exercising doesn’t always work
- having kids messes up your body
- but it makes Christmas more fun
- traveling is fun and hard
- loud music is good for you
- sometimes you just have to say, it doesn’t matter
- you are never too full for ice cream
- no matter how old you get you still feel like a teenager inside
- if you worry about something sometimes it happens
- if you dream about something sometimes it happens
- you can write a book if you actually sit down and type some words out
- chocolate solves a lot of things
- as does listening to Josh Groban
- if you lay down to have a nap, the phone will ring or the door will knock
- don’t give up
- don’t believe everything you read/see/hear/watch
- hang in there, tie a knot in your rope if you need to
- always having something to look forward to is good thing
- being judgmental accomplishes nothing
- always be yourself
- and sometimes yourself is a little different in different situations, which is okay
- read whatever you want
- do something fun every day and don’t feel guilty about it
- be flexible and spontaneous
- pets are both a pain and soothing for the soul
- life happens fast, don’t procrastinate stuff
- enjoy kids when they are little
- enjoy them when they are big too
- life is good even when it feels like it’s not
- if you say you’ll do something, do it
- pick your fights wisely
- be nice, even if you don’t feel like it
- smile a lot
- food is good for you, eat it
- getting old, it happens
- and it’s also a good thing since it means you’re alive and all
- if you mop the floor, it will be dirty again the next day
- reading, writing and watching makes you have ideas
- just like the math teacher said, you will use math in your life no matter you chosen vocation
- you can never have too many notebooks, pens, or books
- as soon as you leave the grocery store and get in the car, you’ll remember something else you needed
- take a book everywhere, because you never know when you’ll want it
- create, create, create
- having dessert for dinner now and then won’t kill you
- sometimes it’s okay to get rained on
- if you put stuff on hold at the library, they will all become available on the same day
- if all else fails, be happy and be nice
What things have you learned so far in your life?
