Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Bucket List

I've already made and exhaustive list of bookish things I want to accomplish. You can see that here. And also, I've been lucky enough to have already accomplished tons of bookish things that I never would have dreamed possible. Which just goes to show, on these types of lists... dreaming is okay and you never know what might happen! Seriously. It's been amazing.

From the list I've already made, here are ten that stand out for me right now.

Top Ten Things on My Bookish Bucket List

1. Accomplish the 50 Classics (Classics Club) challenge.
2. Read the Wheel of Time series, once and for all!
3. Go to BEA!
4. Participate in World Book Night. (Yet again I didn't sign up this year. Next year maybe?)
5. Plan and host a reading/blogging retreat.
6. Meet MORE big name authors. (I've been so lucky in this so far, but there's many more on my list!)
5. Visit famous libraries and bookstores. (I've started on this one. Doubt it will ever be truly done.)
6. Write a book, which is to say, actually finish it.
7. Go to ComicCon (first one here, then maybe one in San Diego)
8. Host a book themed party.
9. Read, I mean listen to, an audio book.
10. Collect different editions of Markus Zusak books.

  3. BEA is on my list too! I like some of your goals are really dream big but others are more achievable, like listening to an audio book!

  6. I went to comic con here and enjoyed it. Talk about crazy crowds, can't wait for this years. I started A Song of Fire and Ice series on audio back in September and now I'm almost done with A Dance With Dragons, it's worth the time it takes to get through 38 discs.

  7. I really want to hit up BEA, too. Let me know if you need a travel companion :)

  8. My hubby has been to SD Comic Con several times over last few years. I went to one in Chicago with him (when I had just found out I was pregnant and had morning sickness on the 13 hour car ride). So i sorta vowed I wouldn't do it again.

Oh, a blogging/reading retreat sounds like a fabulous idea! I hope I can make it to BEA one day. Hey, if hubby gets to go to ComicCon on a guys trip, I should be able to go to NYC for BEA! wishful thinking :) I linked up my bucket list update post too for Throwback Thursday this week. Looking forward to Bloggiesta though we have plans this wknd. I will be blogging when I can!

  11. Thanks so much for The Book Wheel link. Somehow I never saw this 50 things to do before I do with Books, which I love the idea for. I read your Top 10 and you and I have some of the same things, since I am debating going to Comiccon here in Ottawa in May, and I want to re-read the Wheel of Time since I stopped at book - 9? 10? And have to catch up again. Visit famous libraries and bookstores is a must for me...I love this idea. Thank you! Enjoy your top 10, and finishing all the 50 over the next while :-)

  12. I hope you join in WBN next year! It's so fun and everyone should do it at least once. I love that this was a Top Ten Tuesday - I hope you come by and link it up to the Original Bookish Bucket List, too!
