Authors Pick Five

Instead of doing formal (boring) interviews of authors, I've decided that my approach will be to ask them just one question:

"What five books are most important

or influential to you?"

Here's an ongoing list of authors that are answering:

Paul Harris
Cathy Holton

J. Scott Savage
Angela Morrison
David Ebershoff
James Dashner
Aprilynne Pike
Beverly Patt
Johanna Moran
Ben Kane
Michael Perry
Suzanne Beecher
Claire Avery
Becca Wilhite
Matthew Kirby
Julie Berry
Ally Condie
Emily Wing Smith
Cory Poulson
Lisa Mangum
Ryan Jacobson
Brodi Ashton
Bree Despain
Caroline Starr Rose
Angela Corbett
Amber Argyle
Kristen Landon
Sheila A. Nielson
E.J. Patten
Susan Speranza
Milda Harris
Jennifer A. Nielsen
Josh Hanagarne
Tova Mirvis

Under the Dome
4 of 5 stars
Under the Dome
by Stephen King
Wow, what a ride. When an invisible barrier suddenly descends on this small town, how will the people handle things? Let's just say... not very well! Would it be giving away too much if I say... pretty much EVERYONE dies! And all written in...
The Demon King
4 of 5 stars
The Demon King
by Cinda Williams Chima
Awesome fantasy complete with wizards, queens, Indians (sort of ) and street rats. There's also ancient stories that are suddenly current and much mysterious magic. I loved it all.
Red Glove
3 of 5 stars
Red Glove
by Holly Black
I didn't get into it as much as the first one. And there were moments during the whole mystery bit that it lost me, but I really do enjoy Cassel's character!
