Killing two birds with one stone today by writing my A to Z Challenge on England and thus I can also link up to Joy's new weekly England feature called British Isles Friday. (And yeah, I know it's Saturday now, but hey, it happens.)
So England. What a lovely place you are! You have the coolest actors with the coolest accents. And you have some awesome history in your cities, and some beautiful countryside. Everyone says you have boring food, but I beg to differ. Fish and chips, and digestives and cream and scones. Right? Awesome. Some day England, I think I just might go live in you for awhile.
As a sort of "I love England" overview post, today I give you pictures from two different trips, one in 2003 and one in 2013. Here are just a few famous things England has to offer.

ReplyDeleteI live in England for nearly two years now and looking at your pictures reminds me of the excitement I felt when I first stopped by (most) of those spots you have up. To date, my favourite place is Bath. :D

Christiana: Bath is amazing. We needed to spend a bit more time there though. Only scratched the surface. We did it right after we arrived so we were still suffering jet lag too. :(
DeleteI did a semester in London and fell so in love with it! Such wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteMelissa: I wish I could have done something like that. It didn't even cross my mind as a possibility back in the day!
DeleteOh England! Someday I will visit you. Love this post!
ReplyDeleteMelissa: Do it! Just do it!

ReplyDeleteCheck out my E post.
Lisa: I still want to see Ireland too. We managed Scotland on one of these trips, but not Ireland. Sigh.
DeleteGreat photos! They are really making me look forward to my first trip -- hopefully in September!
