Ten Books I WILL Read in 2011
In my surfing book blogs this evening, I came across the popular Top Ten Tuesday posts everyone links up to over at The Broke and the Bookish. And I had to join in. This week's top ten subject:
What ten books do you resolve to read for sure in 2011?
So let's see, what would I list?
1. Bridge of Clay by Markus Zusak.... because, must I even say? Hello. So. Excited.
2. Major Pettigrew's Last Stand by Helen Simonson, because everyone said this was crazy awesome.
3. Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness, because I must know how this story ends or go crazy.
4. Sapphique by Catherine Fisher, because the first one hooked me big time.
5. The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson, because I've really got to finish this series.
6. The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls, because it's been on my nightstand for months now and deserves a read!
7. A Madness of Angels by Kate Griffen, because Jenny gave it to me and says it's good so I WILL read it!
8. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare, because tons of you have said I should give this one a second chance.
9. The Fires of Heaven by Robert Jordan, because I WILL keep reading this series and that's the first one I need to finish.
10. And there needs to be a classic on the for sure list, but I can't think of which one.... any suggestions? I will finish The Way We Live Now... but I don't want to count that one. Hmmmm... I'll have to ponder.
What's on your for sure to read list?
