What would you include in your Top Ten? Make a post and share your link in the comments.

(P.S. Yes, I've tweaked my Top Ten feature to reflect less on me, and more on sharing. So hopefully some of you will be happy to share what you would include in your own Top Ten list.)

  1. I can't believe I've never read The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgen Burnett, but it's on my summer reading list. Many of the others you've listed would make my top ten, too -- Little House on the Prairie, Charlie and hte Chocolate Factory, and The Wizard of Oz, for sure.

  2. Of those books I have only read The Secret Garden. Am I missing out?

  3. I've read them all. Here's mine:

    1. The Phantom Tollbooth
    2. All Little House books
    3. All Anne Shirley and Emily Starr books (LM Montgomery)
    4. Charlotte's Web
    5. The Yearling
    6. The Secret Garden
    7. The Little Princess
    8. All Narnia books
    9. All Beverly Cleary books
    10. Hatchet

If you asked me tomorrow, some of these might change!!

  4. Glad Caroline posted LM Montgomery books and Hatchet. I agree

  5. I LOVED the Bobsey Twins, but I rarely hear about them anymore.
