C U R R E N T L Y
(as written on Sunday afternoon)
Listening: to a mix of Christmas CDs
Eating: dinner of meatloaf and baked potato, one of my favorite dinners, simple as it is. Later we're having cinnamon rolls for our tree decorating festivities. (Recipe here in this very long ago post if you are interested.)
Reading: Started and finished The Summer I Turned Pretty this weekend. Now I have to finish A Tale of Two Cities... so so close!
Feeling: Anxious... see below
Watching: We watched Rock of Ages this weekend. I enjoyed the music, but the story was dumb and the acting crude and awful. I was disappointed.
Wanting: to get the tree up and take some family pictures this evening. I'm anxious about it all.
Exercising: I walked on the treadmill every day this week! Well, every week day. I haven't been that consistent for a long time. Shall we see if I can go another week? Watching Parenthood while walking is fun. Easier than trying to read something, which was my former MO. Anyway, I don't know that I "feel" any better, but maybe if I try another week that will come?
oh cool idea and yeah for exercising on the treadmill. I love listening to christmas music too. I have dinner in the crockpot for today
ReplyDeleteJulie: I do a crockpot dinner almost every Sunday.
DeleteCongrats for walking the treadmill every day! I like to read my nook, but DH prefers to watch TV. Good luck with putting the tree up!
ReplyDeleteAlexia: My husband likes the TV and treadmill too. I think I get it now!
DeleteI've never been able to accomplish reading while walking on the treadmill! I see those people running with an ereader and am in shock. ;)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on walking every day!
Good luck with the decorating :)
Amanda: Here's hoping I can manage another week of every day!
DeleteOoh congrats on being consistent with the treadmill! And yay - for Christmas music ... I;m slowing driving my family crazy with it - in the car, in the house ... I love Christmas music!

Tanya: My family isn't going to crazy yet, but I predict they will!
DeleteWe had meatloaf and baked potatoes too! but cleaned it up with some apple pie. *lipsmack-ing Good!
ReplyDeleteMegs: Yum, but I like cinnamon rolls better! :)
Deletegood luck with getting back into the treadmill routine, sounds like you are off to a good start. And I hope the family photo turned out very nicely.
ReplyDelete~L
L: The photo turned out surprisingly cute. I will share soon...
DeleteNow I'm curious about your hair! I stopped coloring mine about three years ago and I still miss being a blonde. But...ugh the time and money!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes for Rock of Ages. But it was also so awesome at the same time. I know...
Mmmm cinnamon rolls!
And maybe audiobooks on the treadmill?
Trish: Mine is going too gray now, but I went for over a year, so I guess it's not so bad yet! Anyway, it's now a dark brown with a reddish tint. Maybe a picture one day? We'll see...
Deletesounds like a perfect day to me. I hope you get all your decorating done soon. Thanks for stopping by my virtual advent post. Have a very merry Christmas, Kelley at the road goes ever ever on
ReplyDeleteKelley: It did turn out pretty nice despite the anxiety! My virtual advent post goes up this Saturday, come back and visit then!
DeleteWe did decorating and family pictures this last Sunday too!! It's no wonder I didn't get anything else done!!
ReplyDeleteI really need to get back to doing something like the treadmill every day. That is a big accomplishment! Good for you!!
