Top Ten Tuesday: Rewind to Re-Read Wants

This week for our Top Ten lists from The Broke and the Bookish we get to do a "rewind" meaning... pick a past topic and make another list. Now, while I shouldn't AT ALL be thinking about re-reading, what with all the piles and piles of NEW books around here to read, but still, I'm wondering what I'd put on that list if I didn't do any repeats at all from the first list (found  here) even though all those I still want to re-read, of course.

A "New" Top Ten Books I Want to Re-Read List

1. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
2. The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
3. Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
4. Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson
5. The Queen of Atolia by Megan Whalen Turner
6. The Host by Stephenie Meyer
7. A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry
8. The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield
9. The Hollow City by Dan Wells
10. The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

Wow, do I LOVE all those books or what? What books do you want to re-read.. even if you just barely read the book for the first time?

  1. I read Code Name Verity not too long ago and expect that I will read it again more than once...unforgettable read.

  3. I just finished The Night Circus and it is definitely on my re-read list. As is The Thirteenth Tale. I'm also wanting to re-read Norstilia by Cordwainer Smith. I read the two individual novels that make up this bigger story earlier this year and neglected to review them and I really would like to re-read them and do a proper review. Chris Priestley's Tales of Terror books are also ones I've been aching to re-read of late.

  4. I'm such a rereader, I have a hard time getting to new books occasionally. I re-read The Scorpio Races a couple days after I finished it the first time. And I'm hoping to read The Night Circus for the first time this month. I know it's not really a Halloween book, but close enough, right? :)

  6. I'm a dreadful rereader - I totally need to read the whole Queen's Thief series again. And I'd love to do Code Name Verity again. And Lord of the Rings. And all the series with new books coming out. Ugh, never enough time.

  10. I'm not a big rereader -- there are too many books I need to read for the first time. ONe of which is Jellicoe Road. I keep hearing how awesome it is!

  11. I haven't read any on your list, but I do plan on reading The Scorpio Races and Jellicoe Road soon. I wish there were more hours in a day so I had more time to read. :)

  12. I really envy people who can reread. With most books, even books I loved, I just can't reread (without getting terribly bored).

  13. My list would be nuts! I think it's crazy how many books there are to read just for the first time. I feel bad for all those books I really want to re-read
