Many of you posted about your signed books last week. You know I couldn't be left out of that! Did I post too many pictures? That's what you called getting carried away! But I have just one more... here's the portrait that Nathan Hale drew of Toto, which looks so much like her, it's amazing! How does he DO that?

Okay, so that was fun! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! :)

  1. I LOVE all the photos of autographed copies! That is SO cool.

I think I have about 4 or 5 in my collection at this point, but hope to collect more as the years go by.

  3. What a wonderful collection. Usually when I have an author sign, I don't ask for them to personalize. I always feel self-conscious. Loved all the pics too.

  6. Wow, that's quite the collection of signed books!

Mine is very small. Philip Pullman, Garth Nix .. my brain is dying here. Just this week Jennifer Echols sent a signed copy of her latest book for me!

  7. Molly, it's fun to realize how many I have. These are all fairly recent acquisitions! I guess I've got the bug for sure now.

Melina, yes I too love the scribbles... I mean signatures! :)

Jan, if you read my post awhile back on author approaches, you'll know that telling them what name to personalize with is always stressful for me! But still, I like to have them do it.

Catie, I've met JDG several times, but either I've forgotten my books or they ran out of the book I wanted to buy! I think she will be down my way this fall too. I'm hoping to catch her then.

Melissa, we had fun taking pictures one evening. Toto totally got into helping. Pretty funny.

Clover, all three of the ones you mention would be so cool to have!

  8. I have now seen your list! I think it's hilarious that you put it up on Monday when I was MIA. I also think it's great that you killed two birds with one stone. You sure have been around to those signing!
