Book Review: Love and Other Train Wrecks by Leah Konen

Book: Love and Other Train Wrecks by Leah Konen
Genre:YA romance
Rating: ★ ★ ★

Ok yeah, I kinda loved this one. Two kids end up sitting by each other on a train. One is headed to see her dad get remarried and she feels like she is betraying her mom. She's pretty upset by the whole thing and is in a lousy mood. Mostly because she kinda wants this new family. Because it feels like a family and etc..

Our boy is headed home to try and win his ex girlfriend back. And he's absolutely adorable about it. Dang I liked him from the get go.

And so they start talking, and it's going okay. They bond over books and such. But they kinda also drive each other crazy.

And then the train gets stalled. And they decide to get off and try to walk to the town that's close, they think, and hop on a bus and continue on with their plans. Our boy convinces our girl he is not a serial killer and she decides what the heck and off they go.

Well, and so. Let the adventures begin.

And then of course, before you know it, they are suddenly more than strangers that have just met on the train.

Yeah. I kinda loved it.
