I read Code Name Verity not too long ago and expect that I will read it again more than once...unforgettable read.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely loved The Scorpio Races, and I'm reading Hollow City right now and loving it too.

I just finished The Night Circus and it is definitely on my re-read list. As is The Thirteenth Tale. I'm also wanting to re-read Norstilia by Cordwainer Smith. I read the two individual novels that make up this bigger story earlier this year and neglected to review them and I really would like to re-read them and do a proper review. Chris Priestley's Tales of Terror books are also ones I've been aching to re-read of late.
ReplyDeleteI'm such a rereader, I have a hard time getting to new books occasionally. I re-read The Scorpio Races a couple days after I finished it the first time. And I'm hoping to read The Night Circus for the first time this month. I know it's not really a Halloween book, but close enough, right? :)
ReplyDeletegood to know these books are worth a reread. I enjoyed your rewind today. kaye—the road goes ever ever on
ReplyDeleteI'm a dreadful rereader - I totally need to read the whole Queen's Thief series again. And I'd love to do Code Name Verity again. And Lord of the Rings. And all the series with new books coming out. Ugh, never enough time.
ReplyDeleteGood list and I loved The Host as well.
ReplyDeleteI need to read The Scorpio Races at all. It's on my kindle just waiting for me. And Jellicoe Road and the entire Queen's Thief series - most definitely need to reread!!!! Great list. I'll have to check the others out.
ReplyDeleteI need to reread some of those on the list. Great list
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big rereader -- there are too many books I need to read for the first time. ONe of which is Jellicoe Road. I keep hearing how awesome it is!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any on your list, but I do plan on reading The Scorpio Races and Jellicoe Road soon. I wish there were more hours in a day so I had more time to read. :)

I really envy people who can reread. With most books, even books I loved, I just can't reread (without getting terribly bored).
ReplyDeleteMy list would be nuts! I think it's crazy how many books there are to read just for the first time. I feel bad for all those books I really want to re-read
ReplyDeleteSomeday when my TBR pile shrinks down a bit, I need to reread The Host. I really enjoyed that.
ReplyDeleteI'm re-reading the Poldark series by Winston Graham.
ReplyDeleteA lovely glimpse into life in Cornwall a few centuries ago.
