The Sunday Salon: Dying to Read

Here are Books from the Library that I'm dying to read:

And these are New Books that I'm dying to read:

And there's a couple of Borrowed Books that I'm dying to read:

And of course the pile ARCS (or review copies) that I'm dying to read:

But today, I'm reading The Help for next month's book club so I can pass my book along to people. Then I gotta read Twenty Years After for the Classics Circuit... maybe... if I get through it!

Whoever says "there's nothing to read" has got to be crazy!

  1. I just love stacks and stacks of books waiting to be read. I think they say "variety is the spice of life" so your life must be quite flavorful :)

  2. What a nice collection of books! I love looking at stacks of books, like Molly says, and no matter how much I lament my HUGE TBR STACKS, you've got to know that I'm loving having them!

I like your blog header, with the toppling books.

  3. I love how you did this! And I completely agree about those crazies who claim there's nothing to read. Like you, I've got stacks and stacks of TBR books. Happy Reading!

  5. I blew past the stacks at first w/out noticing that little pink book at the bottom of the second picture.

I'm suddenly all excited. :D Thanks!

  6. I had a similar Sunday Salon post today. There's just so much to read and so little time, isn't there?

  7. Stacks and stacks of enticing books, how lovely! I've read Chalice- not my favorite McKinley, but curious to hear what you think of it!

  8. I totally feel you! I have book piles like this by my bed next to my bed table and they keep being switched out with the ones actually on the table that I have to read for some reason or other - not that I don't like those too - there's just so many I want to read :)

  11. Girl, you'd better get readin'!

I try not to get my stacks too high, because as much as I love to look at them, I do start to get a little overwhelmed.

    The Help was great. Enjoy.

  14. I so love pictures of books stacked up. :) Maybe that's why I love books stacked everywhere in my own house? Too funny. Well, good luck with all your reading. It will be fun to see your reviews!

  15. Glad you all enjoyed the stack pictures! And yes, I do feel a bit overwhelmed, but I do this to myself, so I guess I live with it! It's good kind of overwhelmed though, so all is well.

And Annette, I will get to your book, I will. But as you can see, it may be awhile! :)

  19. Your stacks look fabulous! I love having a ton of books available to read (even if it does stress me out sometimes because I don't have enough time).
