Bloggiesta: The Finish Line!

Hey everyone! Are we all still alive after blogging non-stop for three days? Have you learned a lot? Made a ton of new blogger friends? Fixed and changed and spruced and linked and added and subtracted all sorts of things on your blogs? I hope it’s been a blast and that you all feel the event was worth the time.

To end the party, we’d love for you to link up a summary post which can include any or all of the following:
  • what you were able to get done
  • how you feel the event went
  • the best new thing you learned
  • suggestions for mini challenges next time (and if you’d like to host one!)
  • suggestions to make things run smoother
  • Anything you want to tell us! Let us know!
We have two prize packs for which we’ll be drawing random winners taken from the list of summary links here on this post. If you want to be eligible to win one of these prizes, be sure to link up here! We are giving you the whole day Monday to get your post done and linked up. 4. Thank you two SO MUCH for hosting this year! I had a blast, but wish it could have been longer as I kept finding new goals I wanted to add to my list! The blogs I found were amazing, and so inspiring. Thanks again Suey! Looking forward to September!

  5. So glad you brought this back! When I told my husband it was Bloggiesta this weekend he knew it meant it was hardcore blogging time and helped me make time to work on my blog. Love it! We got a lot accomplished but didn't do too many mini-challenges. We did create a FB page and that mini-challenge really helped us out. I set up Tynt so if anyone copies content from our blog, our URL will pop up when they past it somewhere else. I had seen that on Danielle's blog and wanted to do it...I could probably do a mini-challenge on that when we do the next Bloggiesta! Thanks!!!

I didn't post my mini-challenge suggestions in my post, so I'll mention them here:

    1. Gravatars and favicons
    2. SEO
    3. Time management
    4. Monetizing your blog

I volunteer for the gravatar one. :)

  29. Met de Paplepel got the least stuff changed and done I think. It was the one that needed the littlest work! And like with Uit een Doosje, kept adding stuff to the list or kept fining stuff that needed change =') Some I will do the next couple of days, some might pop up on the next bloggiesta =')

  31. And my personal blog 'Spamantha' is now 'done' too! Ended up not doing the thing I dreaded most so I could do ALL THE OTHER THINGS! On top of that aI did a little show and tell for 'Mini-Challenge: MOBILIZE!' and my first evah book review. Happy! ^_^

  32. This was my first time participating, and I loved it. The mini-challenges were great, I liked the twitter chats and having them spaced out on different days. I don't have any ideas for new mini-challenges though.
    Thanks!

  43. Thank you so much for making Bloggiesta happen this year! It was a great experience. I'll be doing the draw and announcing the prize winner for Facebook mini-challenge tomorrow. Keep in touch and hope to see everyone in September!

  44. Thanks for hosting this. It looks like it went swimmngly. I did not get to participate much at all due to a major trip on Saturday that I was prepping for on Friday and recovering from on Sunday. I did more adding to my todo list than crossing off. But one thing on my list I did manage was collecting ideas and advice off participant blogs--mostly from the mini-challenges. I hope to implement some of it soon but if not there is always September. :)
