A March picture: Kitty in the window. |
Endure by Sara B. Larson: The final installment of this fantasy trilogy where there is an epic showdown between the kingdoms.
Life After Life by Kate Atkinson: Ursula dies and is reborn to her same life, over and over and over again, each time experiencing big historical events like WWI and WWII. Can she ever get it right?
Plans for April:
- Read The Winner's Kiss
- Read Winter
- Read Memoirs of a Geisha for book club.. maybe.
- Read The Pages Between Us
- Please please try to read something else too!
- Participate in the readathon on April 23! (I just saw that sign ups are open!)
I liked Life After Life, but I agree about the repetition. Her follow up, A God In Ruins was interesting too.
ReplyDeleteWhy maybe for the book club book? Have you read it before? Or, you're just not in the mood? You need to get out of this reading funk, Suey!
ReplyDeleteJenni: Everyone says it's really disturbing and I'm not sure I can handle disturbing right now. We'll see. I will try it and then I don't know...
DeleteI totally get you about Memoirs. I'll try it but we'll see. Maybe the read-a-thon will help with your slump. Maybe the break away from technology this weekend will help. I hope something helps!
ReplyDeleteJenny: It helped... I read two books in three days! :)
DeleteLovely kitty!
ReplyDeleteHappy April!
I loved Memoirs of a Geisha.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get out of your reading funk soon!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great line up of books for April!!
