Top Ten Tuesday: Summer TBR List
Or, as I'm also calling this list... the top ten books in my Kindle that I really want to read during my upcoming vacation! And those books are:
1. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith
2. Requiem by Lauren Oliver
3. Beautiful Darkness by Margaret Sthol and Kami Garcia
4. Feed by M.T. Anderson
5. The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson
6. Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson
7. Arson by Estevan Vega
8. Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
9. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
10. Insignia by S.J. Kincaid
There's a few more:
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
Descendant by Nichole Giles
Nightingale by David Farland
Lament by Maggie Stiefvater
Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynn Jones
Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier
11/22/63 by Stephen King
Just to name a few more!
So... these are the books I plan to read this summer, while on vacation, with my Kindle, which I hope to be able to charge with no problems!! And my guess is, I'll probably get to, oh maybe, three of them?
However, in August, I plan to read more books by Utah Authors for Utah Book Month, of course!
What books will you be reading this summer? Link up over at The Broke and the Bookish!

Interesting list. I loved THE NAME OF THE STAR, couldn't stand NIGHTINGALE, and thought FEED was interesting. Can't wait to see what you think of them.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Great list of books here!! Howl's Moving Castle is honestly probably my favorite read so far this year! It is so good!!
ReplyDeleteI have high hopes for my summer reading, but don't know that I'll get to all of them either. :) I did just check out a book for Utah Book Month, though.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to see what you'll think of Statistical Probability of Longest Title Name. I didn't care for it, but it seems like everyone else did.
Oh I loved Tiger Lily so much! I reviewed it recently and I can't emphasize enough that the publishers did it such a disservice marketing it as a teen fiction novel. ...but I'll stop before I get into my unstoppable rant on that haha. Howl's Moving Castle is such a fun read (as all of Diana Wynne Jones' books are). You've got a great list ahead of you - I hope you DO make it through the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteSong of Achilles was awesome-hope you enjoy it!

You'll get through The Statistical Prob in one or two sittings, so read it first, and you'll feel accomplished. It was very cute.
ReplyDeleteAre you going on vacation, or just not working?
Feed has been on my forever list, let alone my summer one :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat list! 11/22/63 was one of my favorite books from last year -- really incredible. Have a great vacation -- and enjoy!
