  1. OOH! Please read Eye of the World asap so you can be part of my That's How I Blog show on 2/9!!!

As for other thoughts ... Bleak House is one of my favorite Dickens, and Curious Incident is a quick and unique read. I haven't read any others on your list, so no more opinions there.

Did you know that the movie There Will Be Blood was based on Sinclair's book Oil? I hated that movie, but from what I can tell, the book is REALLY different; I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!

  2. I really liked I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You, so I would have to say, start with that.

  3. A lot of books I've enjoyed here. If you're looking for something hard to put down, start with THE HOUSE OF THE SPIRITS or THE SECRET HISTORY.

    Merry Christmas!

  4. I completely agree with Heather about The Curious Incident. It's a great, quick read, so start with that one. Bleak House is also a great read, but not so quick. . . I also enjoyed When My Name was Keiko (also quick, since it's YA) and The Namesake.
