Sing Along Saturday: Song to Book

One of my favorite things is pondering what sort of book could be made from certain songs. Which is why I love the prompt today from Bookish Things and More:

What song would you like turned into a book?

I have many, but the first two that always come to mind is are these:

Hazard by Richard Marx

I find the story for this song to be compelling and sad and I've always wondered what REALLY happened. There is a big story between the lines for this one. I'm dying to know what it is.

And then here's another sad one. I can picture a sweet crazy fantasy book for this one. There needs to be tons of romance and a terrible tragic ending!

Lucky Man by Emerson Lake and Palmer

Ah... this song never fails to give me chills.

What songs do you think should have a book written for them? There are tons! I'd love to know yours!

  1. I do believe I've heard mention of you thinking Hazard should be made into a book. Now that you're writing you should do it. NANO???

  2. Whoa! I haven't heard Hazard forever! That was a trip down memory lane. :) It would be a good book. I've never heard the other song before.

  3. Hazard- Wow, I hadn't heard that song in ages- I didn't even know the name of it! Really takes me back a decade or more. I never really thought about what the story was behind that song, just that it sounded tragic misunderstanding.
