Great list here. There are a few that I will put on my list of books I need and want to read.
ReplyDeleteCarol: I hope you love them!
DeleteI love Dickens! His stuff always blows me away! I wasn't into Wuthering Heights. It made me angry.
ReplyDeleteKami: A book that makes you angry means it was a good book, right? It stirs up the emotions. That's what I always say anyway...
DeleteNot surprised at all that I love most of these! I did kinda hate Wuthering Heights though. I think I may need to re-read that one and decide if my expectations were just way off.
ReplyDeleteMelissa: It would be fun to see what you think of a re-read of it. But... most people hate it so I'm not much surprised!
DeleteWow, I've only read four of these. That's pretty sad, especially for an English major! For shame. I need to read more of these. Thanks for the push :)
ReplyDeleteSusan: Good luck!
DeleteI haven't read that many classics but I just bought a few that I am looking forward to reading. P&P would have to be my favorite so far though!

Alise: P and P is awesome!
DeleteGreat list! The only one I read was Wuthering Heights, but several are on my reminder list.
ReplyDeleteMelissa: And? What did you think of Wuthering Heights? Love it or hate it?
DeleteLots of great titles on this list! I'm so glad to see that The Grapes of Wrath has been getting so much love today!
ReplyDeleteRoof Beam: Yep... another book that many people don't care for, but one that blew me away.
