Currently: Three Arcs Down!

C  U  R  R  E  N  T  L  Y
(as written on Saturday evening)

Listening: to The Wiz which is on in the background. My daughter will be performing this in a few months for the middle school play! She thought maybe she should do some research!

Eating: chocolate. I think we have a never ending supply around here! Santa brought WAY too much crap.

Loving: that all the Christmas mess is (almost) put away!

Reading:  Finished THREE books this past week! All ARCs that will be coming out next week. I will have reviews soon! Now, I'm going to finish Reached and Seraphina. Whew... back on a roll I think!

Feeling: Tired. I need more sleep people. This is ridiculous!

Watching: Les Miserables! Finally! I got up and went this morning. Only my youngest daughter was interested in going with, so... we went! It was awesome. I will have a proper review soon, but I loved it all.

Wanting:  to go back to San Diego. Dang, that was fun.

Thinking: that 11:00 church tomorrow is going to be SO SO NICE!!

Exercising: not yet. I got a new Zumba game for Christmas and I want to try it, but my shoulder is still bad, and my neck has been killing me too, so if I can just get all the pain under control, maybe I can get going again with the exercising thing. And then the food thing too. Just as soon as someone gets rid of all this chocolate.....

  1. I think it's great that your daughter's middle school is going The Wiz! I hadn't even heard of it until I was at least 19, which is just sad.

Good luck getting rid of all that chocolate :) and have a good week!

  2. I made a real concerted effort not to put so much chocolate and such in stockings this year and it is nice not to have so much around. And then again, it's not. Dang, we're out already and last night I just needed one little bite!

Love the music from The Wiz; that will be fun for the kids. We went to see Les Mis on New Year's Eve and really liked it as well; been listening to it ever since.

    1. Lisa: I've made lots of "notes to self" about next year. I hope I can stick to it.

  3. Glad you enjoyed Les Miserables. We saw it last week and we liked it very much.

I signed up for a Feb. run last Friday as a way to motivate myself to get back outside and start running despite the cold. I've been exercising inside but it is not as effective as when I can be out running.

    1. Carl: I just had a chat with my dad about Les Mis... we both decided that though the movie was awesome, but play is still better. Kind of like books usually are too I suppose!

Good luck with the running... sounds awesome.

  4. I did manage to see THE HOBBIT yesterday, but I know that if I go to Les Miserables it will be just me... The guy will not humour me and all the people that answered on Facebook don't live near here...

  5. Don't you just love getting all the Christmas stuff put away? I love how clean and new the house looks after.

Um, we so need to discuss Les Mes. That is all.

You better hurry and eat all that chocolate. Someone's got to get rid of it. ;-)

    1. Jenny: Now I'm scared about what you what to discuss! Did you not like it? What what? :)

  6. Oh yes, the actual musical live is immensely more satisfying, I think in large part because some of the emotion is lost when pairing it with the film's visuals and also the transition of time and scenes is less jarring in the musical than it is in the film.

  7. Ahhh, I love San Diego. Haven't been in SUCH a long time. My parents were CES missionaries in La Jolla and it was SO fun to visit their "beach" house. When I'm a senior missionary, I'm totally signing up for that gig!
