Currently: Falling Back!

C  U  R  R  E  N  T  L  Y

(as written on Saturday evening)

Listening: someone watching The Walking Dead in the background and let me just say, it is NOT  a pretty sound!

Eating:  The in-laws took us out to Thai food this evening. It was for a joint celebration of our birthdays. It's been a nice evening.

Loving: that it's sweatshirt weather! And I can still drive with the windows down!

Reading: I've been trying to read Insurgent, but it's just not happening. So I may switch to something else for the time being. I don't know what though... strange feeling.

Feeling: a pain in my shoulder. Sometimes it's just subtle and other times it's very intense. Today it's been bad! I'm falling apart guys!

Watching: Lots of Parenthood this week. And a bit of Revenge. Loving both of those shows.

Wanting: the election to be over. And hoping the lines aren't long on Tuesday.

Needing: to put away the candy. Hide it maybe, or just throw it away. I can't be in the same house with it, I just can't do it.

Thinking: "It's not time to think about Christmas already, is it? No way!"

Enjoying: the thought that tonight, we get an extra hour! It's going to be a good morning! But when the evening comes? Not so cool.

Stalking: Jennifer from The Relentless Reader... because she is my official blogger buddy! :) Besides that, she has an awesome blog!

  1. I love the show Parenthood!!! And, I cannot wait for this election to be over with either. I am tired of the ads and all the negativity. But, I do intend to vote and hoping for short lines myself!! :)

  2. First of all, this is such a cool way to wrap up a week and to talk about what is going on in your life. I might have to steal this one of these days ;)

Second, thanks for the shout out! Yay for blogger buddies! Have a great Sunday!

  4. It won't be long until I'll be in the Christmas spirit. I tend to want to embrace it early anyway and the days are getting closer when it will be time to do the decorating. Heck, I bought wrapping paper on sale a couple of days ago and already have a goodly amount of my Christmas shopping done.

    1. Carl: Good for you and the great Christmas attitude! I love the spirit too, but also feel the stress, which I wish we could just make go away. Not sure how though...

  5. I have been struggling to get into books lately. Nothing is grabbing me, and I find myself pounding through books just to be done with them without truly becoming absorbed in them. I'm hoping something snaps me out of this reading malaise soon.

I am not ready for the Christmas season. At this point in time, I'm not really ready for Halloween to be over yet. Everything is just happening so quickly!

I cannot wait for Tuesday to be over. As I type this, I'm listening to yet another political commercial and even worse, a political phone call that is leaving one amazingly long-winded message on the answering machine. Insane.

  6. I don't know if it is just because we have a small family and rotate hosting Christmas or what but I don't generally feel any stress except work-related around this time of year. We have some audits and other annual things that happen at Christmas time and threaten every year to take the joy out of the holiday. But I refuse to let that happen!

  7. I know the Christmas dread thing all too well. I have to plan my families party this year. :(

  8. I love Christmas, but I'm not quite ready for it yet. It was weird to take my kids trick or treating at the mall, with all the Christmas decorations up. :)
I hope you find a book that interests you soon. Slumps are no fun.
