I like how you set your post up--a favorite book from each year. nice. kaye—the road goes ever ever on
ReplyDeleteKaye: Thanks! It was fun looking back.
DeleteI've only read a couple of those. I LOVE The Book Thief. It is such a beautiful book!
ReplyDeleteKami: LOVE it too!
DeleteI can't even begin to imagine narrowing down 10 books out of six years! I had difficulty with just shy of two years! Great list though! I'm glad to see another Neal Shusterman fan! I'm going to be giving away a signed copies of UnWholly and The Night Circus on my blog very soon, so pay attention! :)

My Top Ten
Karis: Yeah for Neal Shusterman. Love his stuff. I need to catch up and get them all read.
DeleteLots of titles for me to pick for my reading pleasure!!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Top Ten post!
Gautami: Wahoo! :)
DeleteI really need to read The Book Thief. I think I'm intimidated by its size and how good it's supposed to be! My husband just finished Unwind and really liked it.
ReplyDeleteKathy: You really should read it. It's not as big as it seems.
DeleteDan Wells trilogy made my list.
ReplyDeleteMarce: LOL! Of course they did! :) I wanted to add them too.
DeleteI read your 2008 & 2011 selections and loved them too. It's so awesome to have a record going as far back as 2007!

Tanya: I have been keeping track of my top ten of the year since 2002, but that was way before blogging!
DeleteWow, first congrats for blogging so long! :) I've read at least one on almost every year of your list (or want to read!). I definitely agree on The Book Thief, the only reason I didn't add it was because it's been on several other lists recently lol.
ReplyDeleteJenn: The Book Thief almost always ends up on my lists... it pretty much fulfills all the categories for me.
DeleteWhat a good list! I haven't read many of them though New follower :D
ReplyDeleteMy TTT - http://pageafterpagereviews.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/top-ten-tuesday.html
Lyndsey: Oh, you'll have to add them all to your TBR for sure1
DeleteI like how you've chosen books from different years of reading - five years must be hard to narrow down! I really enjoyed The Book Thief, although I read the end of it while waiting for a train and was trying to hide the fact I was crying!
ReplyDeleteSmallgirl: It was very hard to narrow down. Argh!
DeleteLovely way to arrange this. I started book blogging around the same time as you, and I may go back and do this at some point. I have done top 10 posts at the end of the year every year, but it would be particularly interesting to see which ones have held up (at least in my memory) over time.
ReplyDeleteJessica: It was an interesting little exercise for sure. You should definitely try it.
DeleteMost TTT I've been reading are on blogs that haven't been blogging for long so the list wasn't THAT hard. I did wonder what you'd do. I like what you narrowed it down to...well, except for Warbreaker. ;)
ReplyDeleteJenny: Ha ha! :)
DeleteLots of good looking books on there. The ones I have read I agree and the ones that I haven't I must get to soon!
ReplyDeleteYou know I love The Book Thief, but I didn't know The Forsyte Saga was one of your favorites! That's been on my list for a long time and I may have to read it sooner.
