Review: Bright Blue Miracle by Becca Wilhite

Book: Bright Blue Miracle by Becca Wilhite
Genre: YA Romance
Rating: A
For: Fun
From: I bought it!

I really really enjoyed this book about a girl, Leigh, whose mom get's remarried, and her new step dad has a daughter her age. Wouldn't you know it but she is practically perfect in every way. Of course, they must share a room, and a family, and a school, and her best friend, who just happens to be a boy. Yeah, well, that can't be good!

Leigh is forced to deal with these issues, and it's hard. But I must say, she does a much better job of it than I would. I was extremely jealous for her! But she has this grandma who really helps her a lot and it's quite amazing how she handles it all. And by the way, this new family development isn't all she's dealing with.

It's a simple, quick read, with a great characters and a lovely lesson to be learned. I even teared up a bit there at the end. Sigh. It's a very refreshing book, and I need to read more of these types I'm thinking!

Bottom line: I think I quite loved this book!
