August Monthly Blurb Recap

Here's what I read this month:

The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson: The adventures of Vin and her entourage continue as they face the aftermath of the rebellion.

Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen: Ruby learns the true meaning of family.

Homer and Langley by E.L. Doctorow: The relationship of two reclusive brothers while they live through the history of the 20th century.

Lily's Crossing by Patricia Reilly Giff: How WWII affects a young girl's summer.

The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Vol. I by M.T. Anderson: A slave boy's experiences during the Revolutionary War.

The Way He Lived by Emily Wing Smith: Six of Joel's friends tell how they've dealt with his tragic death.

Gossamer by Lois Lowry: A young dream fairy learns the ropes of her job.

Normally I name a favorite... but it's so hard!! Octavian for sure. But Homer and Langley was really good too. And I totally enjoyed Lock and Key and The Well of Ascension. Ah shoot... they were all great this month!
