It’s an old question, but a good one . . . What were your favorite books this year?

List as many as you like … fiction, non-fiction, mystery, romance, science-fiction, business, travel, cookbooks … whatever the category. But, really, we’re all dying to know. What books were the highlight of your reading year in 2007?

  1. I read THE FORSYTE SAGA this year and had a hard time getting through it. I felt it was just too long, and I couldn't really connect with any of the characters. And I think I'm the only person who didn't like THE THIRTEENTH TALE. But I loved THE BOOK THIEF and THE MEMOIRS OF CLEOPATRA. Like they say, it's a vanilla/chocolate thing!

  2. It is funny how we are all different! I got totally wrapped up with the Forsyte characters! In fact, I went on to read A Modern Comedy.. which I also really enjoyed, but not enough to add it to the Top Ten. I'm still debating reading the last huge book The Final Chapter because it's about totally different characters, so.. I don't know....
