My F2F Book Club Schedule

Here's what we're pondering for our reading schedule this year:

October: Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell (this one is underway, so therefore is NOT in the pondering stage!)
November: Mallory's Oracle by Carol O'Connell
December: Skipping Christmas by John Grisham
January: Blink, The Power of Thinking Without Thinking by Malcom Gladwell
February: Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
March: 1776 by David McCullough
April: The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
May: ?

    I haven't read Skipping Christmas, but I do so love the movie!! And the Book Thief is fantastic!! A wonderful book!!

    I'd move The Book Thief up to the top of the list! I sold 4 today at work. It's such a wonderful book.

    Skipping Christmas is also good, but much lighter. I've actually thought about adopting some of the characters' ideas for the holidays. :)

    Good idea... maybe I will move Book Thief up the list a bit.

    And a lighter book for Christmas is exactly what we wanted, so good to hear that!
