On the other hand, I have to give it to them for their ability to focus and be so entranced by TV shows. I would be bored off of my bum!

My sewing has totally taken a backseat to reading and quilting? Forget about it! I will get to stitching up some new curtains as soon as my TBR pile is a bit lower.Gwen@ChewDigestBooks.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10423074026016082096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5566869117228903343.post-79620544665804266912010-09-12T12:49:42.195-06:002010-09-12T12:49:42.195-06:00I love scrapbooking as well (the productive kind -...I love scrapbooking as well (the productive kind - not the creative kind). I haven't made the time to do it lately, but I MUST start on my daughter's Open House album if I plan to have it completed by May :)Mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08414201637917215413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5566869117228903343.post-16162208192055458492010-09-11T21:30:10.737-06:002010-09-11T21:30:10.737-06:00Oooh, oooh! The school where I teach actually does not do a book fair because of the lack of profits made.. :( I can't wait to get a library job so I can have book fairs!Jessi E.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15106758044105449908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5566869117228903343.post-4534564678270174852010-09-11T19:44:42.170-06:002010-09-11T19:44:42.170-06:00Laurel-Rain: Ah, soaps. I used to be very addicted to Days of our Lives, but somehow I managed to wean myself from it!

Mr. Lonely: Hmmmm....

1stdaughter: Oh Moonlight. I loved it! Did you know what's his name is now going to be in the new Hawaii five-o? YES! I think I will try it.

Jan: Yes, a talent maybe, but still, not one I'm very good at. The mistakes I make would cause a "real" quilter to shudder in pain.

Shelley: My kids watched Smallville DVDs, but I didn't get into it. And I don't think they ever finished. We have Monk the first season to watch sometime too. Yeah, I really love doing the DVD thing. I should try the first seasons of The Office too!

Melissa: I gone in TV spurts, and for the last few years, it seems to be on the upswing. I agree about the author stalking thing. We are to the point now that my husband is embarrassed to say to some of the authors. The stalking thing is now pretty obvious. I tell him, ah, but they love it!

Ibeeeg: So not FAIR that you get to go to Muse again! Oh, how fun! I will be thinking about you and I want a full report!Sueyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02926501219758538615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5566869117228903343.post-72399353537824985052010-09-11T19:11:18.073-06:002010-09-11T19:11:18.073-06:00I like your hobbies. I do like watching movies, but even that goes in spurts because of the 4 and 7 year old...gotta watch what is on the tube. Not strict about it but they certainly don't need to see kill 'em up stuff, nor any heavy petting kind of scenes. ;) I do contradict myself though because I will let the 7 year old watch Transformers...the movie. He loves the action, Bumblebee, and so do I. :)

Scrapbooking....love that, but it has greatly suffered in the last 5 years or so. I really need to get back to it.

Quilting....none of that for me, but I do admire the work.

Music...well, do I need to tell you that I have a love for music too? I think not. ;) Concert going...yeah, I hear you on that one. Expensive, it certainly is. Matter of fact, this morning while driving to work it dawned on me that Oct 6th is right around the corner and that means, my blogging friend....MUSE!!!!!!! :D :Dibeeeghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10222760102843468991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5566869117228903343.post-48585451202389409772010-09-11T18:18:12.196-06:002010-09-11T18:18:12.196-06:00Ah, TV. But, every once in a while, a show will come on that I'll be obsessed with and I'll religiously watch it every week until I've seen every episode. Probably a good thing I don't watch too much :)

Author stalking should be a sport.melissa @ 1lbrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03292714636311546457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5566869117228903343.post-44793676492932177242010-09-11T18:17:55.112-06:002010-09-11T18:17:55.112-06:00My TV watching is mostly on DVD way after the show...My TV watching is mostly on DVD way after the show has actually been on and we end up doing mini-marathons like you. I watched (but am not done with) Heroes, Smallville and Gilmore Girls and Monk. Man, I loved the first season of Heroes!! The only show I watch that's current is Lie To Me. I love that show! I used to watch The Office (after catching up on DVD the first three seasons) but now it doesn't make me laugh anymore :-(. I'll have to try out some of your favorites!Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18408471966661831444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5566869117228903343.post-55232540603319673942010-09-11T16:17:07.144-06:002010-09-11T16:17:07.144-06:00Actually I think quilting is a talent. My mother tried to teach me, but alas I never got the hang of it and she was such a task master that I ended up hating it in the end.Jan von Harzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01911676835023825470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5566869117228903343.post-77432862513733806592010-09-11T12:58:28.145-06:002010-09-11T12:58:28.145-06:00I absolutely don't get the whole, "I can&...I absolutely don't get the whole, "I can't watch TV and read" thing. It always baffles me, but then again I'm also a night owl and stay up quite late reading. Maybe they don't like late nights reading just so they can squeeze it all in? And oh how I loved Moonlight! I was so sad they took it off the air, especially since I think it could have done really well in the season following with all the vampire hype.

Quilting is actually one I forgot to add to my list as well, but that may be because I haven't done much of it recently though I love doing it.

Great list!The1stdaughterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03701783270303914306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5566869117228903343.post-40982455933009552292010-09-11T12:23:00.674-06:002010-09-11T12:23:00.674-06:00I love watching TV, too, and definitely know that ...I love watching TV, too, and definitely know that you can read AND do the marathon watching.

My guilty secret is SOAPS!
