What’s the funniest book you’ve read recently?
A simple question from Booking Through Thursday this week. And I can't really think of an answer since most of what I read isn't really that funny I guess. I'm thinking the last "funny" book I read was Just One Wish by Janette Rallison. Even though it also had its very serious moments, there were a lot of funny ones too. In fact, if you feel in the mood for light and funny, read any of her books. They are perfect for that.
I love that cover! I'm going to have to check it out :) Here is my response.
ReplyDeleteThe cover is great, I will definitely check this book out. Have a great day!

Funniest books I've read lately are by a British YA author named Louise Rennison. The book was called "Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging." But there are nearly 10 books in the series. The books are diaries of teenager Georgia Nicolson. The back says, "You'll laugh your knickers off, uncontrollably until your sides hurt." And that is exactly what I did, much to the dismay of my family, since I was on an airplane.
ReplyDeleteI've just discovered my library is giving away their ARC that they get. I picked this book up the other day and loved it. I've since shared it with a couple of friends.
